SLEDDING
The snow came flying next and we dove into sledding. We started racing in the early 80's with an 8 dog team. Later, or kids got into the act with 3 and 5 dog teams. Middle distance racing was our primary focus. Middle distance racing averaged 35 miles a day. My husband and I put many sledding titles on our dogs during the seven years we raced. We had 2 titled Working Lead dogs and 9 titled Working Team Dogs.
